Women's Soccer Wins in a Shootout

Ann Arbor, MI - The women's soccer got its first win of the season Friday in exciting fashion at the Concordia University Ann Arbor Soccer Tournament. The Wolves knocked off the Rochester College Warriors 3-2 in a shootout. Senior Courtney Webb, sophomore Stephanie Smith and freshman Ashley Baker had the shootout goals, while freshman Chelsey Brachulis scored in regulation.In net for the Wolves was senior Jessica Tuggle. Tuggle made seven saves in regulation and three in the shootout to preserve the win for the Wolves. The Wolves will try to maintain their winning ways tomorrow by playing tournament host Concordia University at 6:00pm.
