Northville, MI - The women's cross country team participated in the 30th Annual Detroit Titan Invite at Cass Benton Park in Northville. The 5K course was wet and sloppy due to the rain from the week and early Saturday morning. Michigan-Dearborn finished in 10th place with Kayla Dela Cruz (FR/Canton, MI) leading the way. She finished 43rd overall with a time of 21:20.5. The Wolverines then had four runners finish within one minute and two seconds of each other with Megan Seccombe (JR/Dearborn, MI) being the second Wolverine to cross the finish line with a time of 22:02.9. Right behind her was Catherine Miller (JR/Trenton, MI) with a time of 22:12.6. Emily Eccleton (JR/Allen Park, MI) and Emily Rader (FR/Dearborn, MI) finished neck and neck with Eccleton beating out Rader by just one second. Rounding out the Michigan-Dearborn finishers were Alyssa Harlow (FR/Wyandotte, MI), Caroline Mahalak (SO/Westland, MI), and Kaylee Kozlowski (SO/Riverview, MI). The women's cross country team will next compete at the Spartan Invitational in East Lansing on Friday, September 16th.
