Taylor Moceri guided the University of Michigan-Dearborn softball team to a successful 11-4 start to the season during the Wolverine's annual spring break trip.
In 15 games, Moceri did everything for the Wolverines, playing three positions in the field, making an impact at each spot and taking runs away from the other teams. From the lead-off position, Moceri compiled a .435 batting average, coming away with 20 total hits, including the first three home runs of her career. Her first home run was a walk off in the eighth inning to propel the Wolverines past Wheeling Jesuit University. She also recorded a team-high 16 RBIs and 12 runs scored, while adding four doubles and a triple. Moceri's .761 slugging percentage also leads the team.
Moceri was also named the WHAC Softball Offensive Player of the Week following the team's return from Clermont, Fla.
