Lima, OH- Michigan Dearborn's men's basketball team fell to Northwestern Ohio this past Wednesday night 53-73. Michigan struggled shooting in the first half but turned it around and increased their percentages by nearly 20% in the second. The Wolverines had a higher free throw percentage, and out-rebounded the Racers. Jason Penn led the team with 15pts and 7 rebounds with Gage Thorogmorton also contributing 11pts.

Lima, OH- Michigan Dearborn continued to fight but could not find a way to close the gap in order to gain the lead. The game resulted in a 63-78 loss against Northwestern Ohio University (Racers).  Dearborn increased their shooting percentage from the first half to the second half as the Racers percentage dropped. Although Dearborn was out rebounded, the Wolverines had stolen the ball 10 times and UNOH turned the ball over 21 times. During the second half the Wolverines made 37 points, while UNOH only scored 39pts. Michigan's leaders were Jalissa Williams, Andrea Collins and Courtney Teets. Ashley Sandelin shot 2 for 4 from behind the arch chipping in 6pts for the Wolverine's.

Rochester, MI-Oakland University (Golden Grizzlies) defeated Michigan-Dearborn 6-3 this past Saturday. The Wolverines put 33 shots on the net against Oakland during the contest, which averages more than 0.1 per game. Michigan-Dearborn was the team who racked up the penalties to end the contest with eight minors and four majors for a total of 56 minutes of penalty time. One of the major penalties caused Lucas Hart to be ejected from the game.
