Earlier this week the 2015 class of Difference Makers was announced.  This class includes three current student-athletes and one former student-athlete.  The three current student-athletes are women's cross country runner Megan McDonald, women's basketball player Teia McGahey, and men's soccer player Chris Porreca.  Senior AJ Dombrowski, who played on the men's basketball team from 2010-2014 was also named a Difference Maker.

Senior basketball player Jamiel Strickland scored his 1,000th career point earlier this season.  Now he can add being named All-Conference Honorable Mention for the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) to his growing list of accomplishments.  In his senior season, Strickland led the Wolverines averaging 13.2 points per game while shooting 43% from behind the three-point arc.  Strickland also led the team with 87 assists and 33 steals.

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced its women's basketball post-season awards and senior forward/center Jalissa Williams was named to the First-Team All-Conference.  Williams led the WHAC averaging 22.7 points per game and was second in the conference with 9.6 rebounds per game.   She also led the WHAC averaging 2.44 blocks per game.  Williams shot 45% from the field and 88% from the free throw line.  She also scored her 1,500th career collegiate point on February 7th.
