The WHAC announced cross country honors. and four Wolverines were on the All-Academic Team. Seniors Ryan Keeling and Mark Waterbury, along with juniors Quinn Osgood and Chris Serement received the honors. To be named to be WHAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academic standing and have a cumulative grade point average of a 3.25 or higher.

Grand Rapids, MI - The WHAC Cross Country Championship was held Saturday morning in Grand Rapids, MI. The meet featured all 10 WHAC schools that have cross country as a varsity sport. The Wolverines ran hard as this would be their final competition of the season. The men's team finished in 7th place while the women's team finished in 8th place.
Tue, Sep. 11, 2012 - [Varsity Cross Country]
Detroit, MI - The men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Detroit Titan Invitational on Saturday, September 8th. The men's team finished in sixth place. It was the second meet of the season for the Wolves. The first meet had the men running a 5K, while the Detroit Titan Invitational was slightly longer at 4 miles. Once again freshman Nick Eiben led Michigan-Dearborn finishing in 52nd place with a time of 22:48. Sophomore Quinn Osgood wasn't too far behind Eiben with a time of 23:14. Freshman Sam Parks finished in 66th place with a time of 23:60. Sophomore Ryan Keeling and junior Mark Waterbury once again finished within seconds of each other with Keeling coming in at 24:09 and Waterbury at 24:14. Freshman Garrett Neumann and sophomore Chris Serement rounded out the Wolves' runners.
