LIVONIA, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn continued Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play with a road matchup against the Madonna University Crusaders on Saturday in Livonia, Mich.
The Crusaders scored once in the first half and it proved to be the only goal of the game. The 1-0 loss drops the Wolverines to 1-7-2 overall and 1-5-1 in the WHAC.
Kirsten Schapman scored for Madonna on one of 41 shots for the Crusaders.
Jordan Anheuser was busy for the Wolverines, making 17 saves, holding the Wolverines in the contest throughout.
The Wolverines return to action against Cornerstone University at 7 pm Wednesday in a WHAC matchup in Grand Rapids, Mich.
