GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team returned to action Wednesday night, traveling out to Grand Rapids, Mich. to take on the No. 12 ranked Aquinas College Saints in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference match-up.
The Saints offense was firing on all cylinders, scoring four times in both halves, on their way to an 8-0 win over the Wolverines.
UM-Dearborn goalkeeper Amber Festian faced a barrage of shots, making nine saves in the game.
Aquinas College was led by Hannah Crum, Sydney Shenk, and Katelyn Kahael, all three finding the back of the net twice.
The loss drops the Wolverines to 1-7-1 overall on the season and 0-6-1 in the WHAC.
UM-Dearborn returns to action against the University of Northwestern Ohio at 2pm Sunday, October 24th, at Racer Stadium in Lima, Ohio.
