Wolverines fall to Crusaders on Senior Day

DEARBORN, Mich.— The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team returned to action Saturday afternoon, playing host to the Madonna University Crusaders in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference match-up on Senior Day.

Prior to the start of the match, the UM-Dearborn Athletic Department celebrated the hard-work and commitment of seniors Lisa Kohler and Madison Caswell.

The Crusaders would strike five times on its way to a 5-0 win over the Wolverines. Leading Madonna was Sierra Nissan with a hat trick, while Kirsten Foor and Sydnie Voss would add a goal each.

Senior Lisa Kohler got the start in her last game, making three saves. Amber Festian came in to finish the game, making five saves.

UM-Dearborn finishes the 2021 season 2-9-1 overall and 1-8-1 in the WHAC.
