DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team hosted Rochester College in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup Saturday at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.
The Wolverines swept the Warriors in three sets to win their second conference match of the season. The set scores were 25-21, 25-19, 25-15, pushing UM-Dearborn to 5-17 overall and 2-11 in the WHAC.
Leading the way offensively for the Wolverines were Mackenzie Zook and Bronte Michura as the pair each finished with 10 kills. Zook also led the Wolverines with a .381 hitting percentage. Katherine Nealy added three more solo blocks to her season total, while also pitching in offensively with eight kills. Sabrina Giacomini and Daniella Barile produced 22 and 20 assists, respectively.
On defense, Caitlyn Carlson led the Wolverines with 20 digs.
The Wolverines return to action against Siena Heights University in a WHAC matchup at 7:30 pm Wednesday in Adrian, Mich.
