DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team returned home after four consecutive road matches to host Lourdes University in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest Friday at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.
Lourdes jumped out early in the first set on with the first 10 points of the night and went on for a three-set win 25-10, 25-17, 25-11. The loss drops UM-Dearborn to 3-18 overall and 2-10 in the WHAC.
The Wolverines were led by Regan Sliwinski and Gina Giacomini with seven kills each, while Bronte Michura added five. Sabrina Giacomini and Daniella Barile added 12 and 11 assists, respectively, while Libero Mallory Lynch finished with a team-high 12 digs.
The Gray Wolves were led by Kylee McBride with a match-high 12 kills, while Megan Vayansky added 17 assists.
The Wolverines return to action against Madonna University at 1 pm Saturday in Livonia, Mich.
