George Easter enters his first season as the Head Coach of the University of Michigan – Dearborn Women’s Soccer Program in the Fall of 2022. He was hired as the second coach in program history, after serving as an assistant since 2019, and being promoted to Associate Head Coach in 2021.
George has coached at various levels, from youth to semi-professional. In 2021, he was named Coach of the Year for the inaugural season of the United Women’s Soccer League 2, after leading the DCFC Women’s UWS2 semi-professional team to the Great Lakes Conference Division Championship Title.
Prior to coaching collegiately, George has coached various levels of players for youth clubs such as Dearborn Heights Soccer Club, Michigan Rush, and most recently DCFC Youth West. He also coaches High School soccer, and has experience working with various soccer camps, including ODP 101.
George currently holds his USSF National C License, NSCAA Goalkeeper Level 3 License, Coerver Youth Diploma 1 & 2, Sports Performance Diploma, Director of Coaching Diploma, and his United Soccer Coaches Collegiate Coach Diploma.
George graduated from the University of Michigan – Dearborn in 2012, with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. He currently lives in Detroit, MI with his wife Liz.
