SOUTHFIELD, Mich.— The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's basketball team returned to action against the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils Wednesday night in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup in Southfield, Mich.
The Wolverines found themselves facing a seven-point deficit at the half as they looked to claw back going into the third quarter. The Blue Devil defense had other plans, limiting the UM-Dearborn offense to under 30 percent shooting in the second half, handing the Wolverines a 59-47 defeat.
The Blue Devils were led by Kendall Fisher who finished with a game-high 27 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double.
The loss drops the Wolverines to 11-17 overall and 9-10 in the WHAC where they currently sit in the seventh seed.
