Wolverines fall to Indiana Tech in three sets

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team returned to action against the Indiana Tech Warriors in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup.
The Warriors took the win in three sets 25-14, 25-15, 25-19 to earn the road victory against the Wolverines. The loss drops UM-Dearborn to 4-11 overall and 2-5 in the WHAC.
Kristin Maust led UM-Dearborn with seven kills, while Kielee Tondryk and Regan Sliwinski added six and five kills, respectively. Sabrina Giacomini added eight assists, while Kenize Mertz had a match-high 24 digs.
Indiana Tech was led by Heavily Cummings with 10 kills and Andrea Schriver, who added 23 assists.
The Wolverines have a quick turnaround as they hosts the University of Northwestern Ohio at 1pm tomorrow afternoon at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.
