DEARBORN, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn (7-8, 3-3) volleyball team fell victim to a pair of long runs that they could not overcome as they dropped a matchup against Madonna (8-5, 4-1) 3-1 on Friday (Sept. 22).
The Wolverines led in all four sets against the Crusaders but could not overcome a trio of long runs from the Crusaders that up-ended the Wolverines in multiple sets. Despite tallying one less kill than the Crusaders, UM-Dearborn had seven more attacking errors.
Sydney Eggleton led the contest with 15 kills and 19.5 points. Regan Rose led the contest with 37 assists and added another double-double to her impressive season as she added 12 digs. The Wolverines tallied 10 total assisted blocks and four solo blocks, with Brooke Wetherill tallying two herself.
