FRASER, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's ice hockey team wrapped up their season series against the Rochester Warriors on Friday (Jan. 26) and Saturday (Jan. 27). The Wolverines defeated the Warriors 9-1 on Friday and took the finale 6-1.
Max Hartwell, Danny Fletcher, Matt Cunningham and Joey Cullinan all had multiple goals across the two games. Chance Matthews tallied a four-point game on Saturday as he scored a goal and dished out three assists in the victory.
The Wolverine defensemen were strong in the two wins, as three different defensemen tallied multi-point games. Hartwell, Jake Emery and Ryan Stanley were all beneficiaries. The Wolverine goal-stoppers each played well in between the pipes as Drew Adams made 17 saves and Trevor Heslop made 21 saves while both allowed a goal in 60 minutes of action.
The Wolverines will conclude their regular season with the top two teams in the conference, with the first being No. 18 Indiana Tech on Friday (Feb. 2) at the Fieldhouse.
