DEARBORN, Mich. – Despite holding their own for much of the contest. The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer team could not enter the win column on Wednesday (Sept. 11) night. The Spring Arbor Cougars scored twice in the final 20 minutes to give the Wolverines their second loss.
Jack Rogers was a bright spot for the Wolverines, making eight saves in his first start of the season and five in the second half to keep the game close for the Maize & Blue. The Wolverines played with 10 men in the final fifteen minutes as UM-Dearborn had a midfielder sent off after his second yellow card.
UM-Dearborn takes on Shawnee State on Saturday (Sept. 14).
