SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- In a tightly contested league soccer game at Blue Devils Stadium, the University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer team were edged out by the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils with a final score of 2-1. The match unfolded with both teams fighting neck and neck, but ultimately it was Lawrence Tech who sealed the victory.
The Wolverines initially faced a challenge as Reece Still of Lawrence Tech opened the scoring at 12:20. However, Michigan-Dearborn's Kaelan Wright swiftly responded, leveling the game at 1-1 with a goal at 17:20. Despite a strong defensive effort led by goalie Elijah Burlak, who tallied five saves and faced seven shots on goal, the Wolverines couldn't hold off the Blue Devils. Timotej Murcko of Lawrence Tech scored the winning goal at 81:27, ensuring the lead and victory for his team.
