UM-Dearborn Athletics Unveils Influxer NIL Program Expanding NIL Opportunities for Student-Athletes
Influxer is licensed with over 600 universities nationwide.
DEARBORN, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn Department of Athletics & Recreation announced a strategic partnership with Influxer, allowing Wolverine student-athletes the opportunity to monetize their name, image, and likeness (NIL) via personalized merchandise that allows fans to support in style.
Influxer was founded in Dallas, Texas in 2022 to connect student-athletes to the resources they needed to thrive in the NIL market. The company works with more than 44,000 student-athletes at more than 600 universities across the country, offering them the chance to sell personalized merchandise featuring their school's officially licensed branding.
"The NIL landscape is constantly evolving," said Influxer Vice President Keith Miller. "Working with Eric Stark and the administration has been an amazing opportunity to see the vision they have for UM-Dearborn providing great options through Influxer for their student-athletes. They see this as not simply a transactional opportunity, but as an opportunity to develop long term skills for life."
In addition to creating personal store spaces for each of UM-Dearborn's 300 student-athletes, Influxer has committed to providing student-athletes with the education required to succeed in this new environment. Influxer staff are available for free one-on-one coaching on a variety of topics, from social media marketing, taxes, and reading contracts.
"We are thrilled to partner with Influxer and provide our student-athletes with the tools to build their personal brands," stated Eric Stark, Assistant Athletic Director of Student-Athlete Welfare and Development. "We are committed to providing our student-athletes with a first-class experience and will continue to guide them through this exciting new landscape of collegiate athletics."
Once a student-athlete has opted into the Influxer store, fans can find their branded apparel at the UM-Dearborn Influxer store.
