Cali Crawford Joins Athletics Staff
Cali Crawford joins The University of Michigan-Dearborn as the new Assistant AD of Compliance & Internal Operations, SWA, the school announced on Monday (Sept 19).
DEARBORN, Mich.-- The University of Michigan-Dearborn Department of Athletics announced Cali Crawford as the new Assistant AD of Compliance & Internal Operations, Senior Women's Administrator, the school announced on Monday (Sept 19).
Crawford comes to Dearborn after serving as the Director of Athletics at Schoolcraft College since July 2019. Crawford oversaw the transition from Division III to Division II in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Crawford previously served as the Assistant Director of Athletics, dating back to July 2012.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer appointed Crawford to be part of the 14-person Women in Sports Task Force Committee, which was created to assess and improve opportunities in sports for girls and women. Crawford served as an At Large Board of Regents Member of the NJCAA and has been the Women's Assistant Region 12 Director for the NJCAA since June 2013.
"I am very excited to have Cali join our team," Director of Athletics & Recreation Bryan Earl said. "Her wealth of experience and ability to connect with student-athletes will assist us in continuing to provide a great student-athlete experience. Cali will be integral in the overall success of our student-athletes in the classroom and beyond."
Crawford earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Madonna University and a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Eastern Michigan University.
