Stark Named Assistant AD Student-Athlete Welfare & Development
Eric Stark was named Assistant AD for Student-Athlete Welfare & Development.
DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn Department of Athletics & Recreation announced Eric Stark as the new Assistant Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Welfare & Development on Wednesday (Nov. 16).
Stark has been with UM-Dearborn since 2014, serving as Head Volleyball Coach and formerly as the Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Services. Stark has helped student-athletes achieve an overall department GPA above 3.0 since his arrival.
"We are very excited to have Eric in this new position," said Director of Athletics and Recreation Bryan Earl. "Eric has been an integral part in our student-athletes' academic success, and we look forward to continuing to provide an outstanding student-athlete experience."
Stark earned his bachelor's degree from Bradley University in 2007 and a Master's in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine in 2020.
Stark will remain the Head Volleyball Coach in addition to his Assistant AD position.
