FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men’s ice hockey team won its fifth straight game against Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference foe Lawrence Tech Friday at the Farmington Hills Ice Arena in Farmington Hills, Mich.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's ice hockey team won its fifth straight game against Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference foe Lawrence Tech Friday at the Farmington Hills Ice Arena in Farmington Hills, Mich.
The No. 3 Wolverines scored two in the second and two in the third to pull away from the Blue Devils for a 5-1 win. The victory moves UM-Dearborn to 9-1-1 overall and 6-1-0 in the WHAC.
UM-Dearborn opened the scoring with a goal from Nic LaBurn on assists from Justin Dunn and Jared Lee in the first period. Dunn made it 2-0 early in the second on a feed from Dawson Richard.
After LTU cut the deficit to 2-1 later in the second, Mathieu LaForest gave the Wolverines back a two-goal lead heading into the final period. The Wolverines added goals in the third from John Ames and Anthony Davis to cruise to the win.
Five-time reigning WHAC Defensive Player of the Week Thomas Proudlock made 20 saves in net for the Wolverines to earn his ninth win of the season.
UM-Dearborn returns to action against Cleary University at 7:30 pm Thursday in Hartland, Mich.
