UM-Dearborn Golf Wraps up Play at the Irish Hills Invitational
Kristen Guobis took home a top 10 finish on Saturday (Sept. 13).
TECUMSEH, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn golf teams wrapped up competition at the Irish Hills Invitational this week, with both the women's and men's squads turning in strong performances highlighted by individual improvements across the board.
On the women's side, the Wolverines placed sixth overall with a two-day team score of 720 (369–351).

Kristen Guobis led the way, tying for eighth place with a score of 167 (+23) after rounds of 86 (+14) and 81 (+9).

Megan Rogers tied for 15th at 175 (+31), improving by three strokes in round two.

Kaitlyn Creps placed 22nd with a 179 (+35), while Andi Evers closed at 41st with a 199 (+55), highlighted by a strong 94 (+22) in her second round.
For the men, UM-Dearborn entered two squads.

The UM-Dearborn B Team finished seventh with a 691 (344–347). Tyler Toth led the group with a 21st-place finish, posting 164 (+20), including an 80 (+8) on day two. Jason Cuppari tied for 22nd at 165 (+21), while Cameron Grant (174, +30) and Luke Richter (188, +44) rounded out the lineup.

The UM-Dearborn A Team tied for eighth, carding a 518 (268–250). Gavin Hill paced the group with a tie for 27th, shooting 167 (+23) with an impressive final round 79 (+7). Jason Spiegel (175, +31) and Issa Saad (176, +32) also contributed solid rounds.
