DEARBORN, Mich. — The University of Michigan-Dearborn baseball team hosted Lawrence Tech on Sunday, dropping both games of a doubleheader at home.
In game one, the Wolverines showed early fight at the plate. Max Granatstein highlighted the offense with a solo home run, while James Forner added a pair of hits and an RBI. Michigan-Dearborn stayed within striking distance through the middle innings, with contributions throughout the lineup.
Game two saw James Forner continue his strong day at the plate, driving in the Wolverines' lone run, while Gavin Hampton added a hit and scored. Zander Greene provided a bright spot on the mound in relief, tossing two scoreless innings with five strikeouts.
