Recap: Cleary Invitational
Tyler Toth and Cadence Pero led the Wolverines on Friday (Sept. 19).
HOWELL, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's and women's golf teams hit the course Friday at the Cleary Invitational, competing against a strong field of WHAC opponents and regional programs.
On the men's side, Tyler Toth paced the Wolverines with a round of 80 (+8), finishing tied for 24th overall. Cameron Grant carded an 84 (+12) to place in a tie for 37th, while Luke Richter shot an 88 (+16) and Issa Saad added a 90 (+18). Giovanni Savone rounded out the UM-Dearborn lineup with a 91 (+19).
For the women, Cadence Pero led the Wolverines with a 98 (+26) to tie for 22nd, followed closely by Zeinab Saad, who posted a 99 (+27) to finish 24th. Andi Evers recorded a 108 (+36), while Sydney Kendall (122, +50) and Macy LaCourse (127, +55) completed the scoring for UM-Dearborn.
The event featured standout performances across the field, including Cleary's Axel Houdaille, who claimed medalist honors on the men's side with a 68 (-4), and Cornerstone's Kayla Collins, who won the women's tournament with an 82 (+10).
