Wolverines Compete at Warrior Classic in Flint

FLINT, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's and women's bowling teams returned to action Saturday at the Warrior Classic, hosted by Rochester University at Richfield Bowl. The Wolverines faced a strong field of programs from across the Midwest and turned in several standout performances.
On the men's side, Nathan Roberts paced UM-Dearborn with a 15th-place finish, totaling 836 pins for a 209 average over four games, highlighted by a 279 in the opening round. Tommy Bain followed with 786 pins (196.5 avg.), while Charles McSwain rolled 772 pins (193 avg.) to round out the top varsity scorers. In JV competition, Connor Sykes led the Wolverines with 769 pins (192.25 avg.), supported by Philip Narumi (712) and James Larsen (698).
For the women, Makenzee Barthlow led the Wolverines with a steady effort, totaling 714 pins for a 178.5 average to place 23rd overall. Morgan Frank (545) and Alexandra Dasuqi (543) followed with consistent three-game series, while Juanita Higgins (485) and Becca Claypool (472) also added solid performances for the Maize and Blue.
