DEARBORN, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer team dropped a 4-2 decision to Lawrence Tech on Wednesday night at The Hawk.
After falling behind 1-0 at halftime, the Wolverines came out strong in the second half, with Salah Jallad striking just 60 seconds after the restart to tie the game. Less than a minute later, Jallad set up Diego Beaman, who finished to give UM-Dearborn a 2-1 lead.
Lawrence Tech responded quickly, however, scoring three unanswered goals in 15 minutes to reclaim control and secure the win.
UM-Dearborn was led by Jallad, who tallied a goal and an assist, while Beaman added his fourth of the season. Goalkeeper Mohammad Bader recorded four saves in the loss.
The Wolverines move to 1-4-1 overall and 0-2-0 in WHAC play, while the Blue Devils improve to 3-5-1 and 2-0-0 in conference. UM-Dearborn returns to action this weekend against Cleary.
