GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer team showed resilience on the road Monday afternoon, rallying late to earn a 2-2 draw against Aquinas College in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play.
Aquinas struck first in the ninth minute and added another goal at the 27:41 mark to take an early 2-1 lead. The Wolverines responded midway through the first half when Diego Beaman finished off a pass from Kaelan Wright to level the match at 1-1.
Trailing late, UM-Dearborn found its equalizer in the 82nd minute as Bruno Delgado buried a feed from Juan Pablo Hermosillo, securing the program's second consecutive result in conference play.
Goalkeepers Mohammad Bader and Keegan Creedon split time in the net, combining for four saves on six shots on goal. The Wolverines were outshot 20-11 but made the most of their chances, putting six attempts on frame.
