Liam Rodriguez Named to WHAC All-Newcomer Team
Liam Rodriguez capped off an exceptional freshman season with an All-Newcomer team award.
DEARBORN, Mich. — University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer midfielder Liam Rodriguez has been named to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) All-Newcomer Team, as announced by the league office this week.
Rodriguez made an immediate impact in his first season with the Wolverines, establishing himself as a steady and reliable presence in the midfield. While he didn't record a goal or an assist in 2025, his work rate, composure on the ball, and ability to control tempo were key to UM-Dearborn's transition play and defensive structure.
Additionally, Dylan Clayton was named to the WHAC Champions of Character team, and eight Wolverines were named to the WHAC All-Academic Team.
