ALBION, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team closed out August with a tough road test, falling 5-0 to Albion College on Sunday afternoon.
The Britons struck early, finding the net just two minutes into the match and adding two more goals before halftime to seize control. Albion continued its strong attack in the second half, tallying twice more to secure the win.
Despite the scoreline, UM-Dearborn goalkeeper Julia Tasker turned in a busy performance, recording 13 saves on 18 shots faced while playing the full 90 minutes in net. Offensively, the Wolverines generated six total shots, with Farida Youssef, Nadia Saab, and Vincia DeSantis each putting attempts on target.
Albion outshot UM-Dearborn 26-6 and held a 10-1 advantage in corner kicks. Kelsi Green powered the Britons' attack with two goals and an assist, while Diane Hurtado, Claire Gorno, and Zoe Moretti also found the scoresheet.
