SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team fell 1-0 to Lawrence Tech on Wednesday night in WHAC action in Southfield, Mich.
The Blue Devils scored the lone goal of the match in the 18th minute, when Bridget Finneran converted off an assist from Abigail Gray. Despite creating chances in the second half, the Wolverines were unable to find the equalizer.
Goalkeeper Julia Tasker kept UM-Dearborn in the match with an outstanding performance, recording 13 saves against 14 shots on target. The Wolverines managed three shots in total, including one on frame from defender Jaymi Carmean.
With the result, UM-Dearborn moves to 1-7-1 overall and 0-2-0 in WHAC play, while Lawrence Tech improves to 2-3-2 and 1-1-0 in the conference.
