FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team wrapped up its 2025 season on Saturday afternoon, falling 3-1 to Indiana Tech in WHAC play at Warrior Athletic Field.
The Warriors struck early, scoring less than two minutes into the match, but the Wolverines responded midway through the first half. Sophomore Sofia Pinkowski netted the equalizer in the 25th minute off an assist from Mallory Botten, pulling UM-Dearborn level at 1-1. Indiana Tech regained the lead before halftime and added an insurance goal in the 68th minute to secure the 3-1 victory.
UM-Dearborn outshot Indiana Tech 21-17 and held a 3-2 edge in corner kicks. Goalkeeper Isabelle Shaw made six saves in her first career start for the Wolverines, while Botten led the team with five shots on goal.
The Wolverines finish the season with a 2-13-3 overall record and a 1-8-2 mark in WHAC play, showing growth and competitiveness throughout the campaign.
