Barrett Named WHAC Offensive Player of the Week
Will Barrett earned WHAC Hockey weekly honors, the league announced on Monday (Oct. 6).
DEARBORN, Mich. – University of Michigan-Dearborn forward Will Barrett has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Barrett had a standout weekend against Cleary University, recording three goals across the two-game series. In Friday's 6-3 victory, Barrett led the Wolverines' offensive surge with two goals, helping UM-Dearborn secure its first conference win of the season. He followed up that performance with another goal on Saturday, continuing his strong start to WHAC play.
The sophomore forward's ability to generate scoring opportunities has been key for UM-Dearborn, as he now leads the team in goals and continues to make an impact on the top line.
