Dell Receives All-Conference Honors, 11 Wolverines Named WHAC All-Academic
David Dell was named First Team All-Conference by the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference coaches, the league announced on Thursday (Feb. 19).
DEARBORN, Mich. -- University of Michigan-Dearborn men's hockey junior, David Dell, was named First Team All-Conference by the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference coaches, the league announced on Thursday (Feb. 19). Dell had an outstanding debut season donning the Maize & Blue as he led all Wolverine defensemen with 28 points. Additionally, 11 Wolverines received WHAC All-Academic honors.
The White Lake, Mich. native received WHAC Defensive Player of the Week twice during his first year with the Wolverines. Most notably, Dell put together a three-point performance in a come-from-behind win against UM-Flint back in November. Dell was second in the conference in points amongst all defensemen, trailing only Cleary's Tommy Madden.
