Wolverines Fall on the Road at No. 1 Madonna
The University of Michigan-Dearborn men’s lacrosse team dropped a WHAC road contest to Madonna on Wednesday afternoon, falling 28-8.

LIVONIA, Mich. -- No. 1 Madonna established control early, building a 4-1 lead in the opening quarter despite a goal from Cooper Hallwood to get the Wolverines on the board.
Michigan-Dearborn found offensive rhythm in the second quarter, scoring four times behind a balanced attack. Charlie Woodcock opened the frame, while Jeremy Fancett netted a pair of goals and Gabriel De La Paz added another to cut into the deficit.
Fancett continued to pace the Wolverines with two goals on the day, while Reece Rath added a pair of scores in the second half. Hallwood, Woodcock, De La Paz, and Garrett Kern also contributed goals in the effort.
Aidan Meyers and Jack Furton each recorded assists, helping facilitate the offense throughout the contest.
Defensively, Owen Reed made 12 saves over three quarters of action, while Daniel Acosta added four saves in relief.
