Wolverines Fall in High-Scoring Battle to Indiana East, 106–95
Five Wolverines finished in double figures on Saturday (Nov. 15).
DEARBORN, Mich. – In a fast-paced, offensively charged matchup, the UM-Dearborn men's basketball team came up short against Indiana East on Saturday, falling 106–95 at home. The Wolverines move to 2–3 on the season.
UM-Dearborn held a 45–40 halftime lead, powered by strong play from Jackson Reynolds, who delivered another standout performance. The junior guard poured in 33 points, hitting 5-of-9 from three while adding six assists and four rebounds.
Indiana East responded with a dominant second half, scoring 66 points as they caught fire from beyond the arc. The Red Wolves shot 56% from three and placed six players in double figures, led by Caleb Maurer's 23 points and Cole Henry's 20-point, 13-rebound double-double.
The Wolverines had balanced contributions across the lineup. Thomas Dillard IV continued his efficient start to the year with 18 points and eight rebounds, while Ali Homayed added 10 points and five boards. Collin Miller chipped in 11 points, and Logan Hamama provided a spark off the bench with 10 points and seven assists.
Despite shooting 45% from the field and winning the rebounding battle 41–36, the Wolverines couldn't keep pace with Indiana East's perimeter shooting and transition scoring late.
