Reynolds’ 32 Not Enough as UM-Dearborn Falls at Cornerstone, 105–91

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team battled offensively but could not keep pace with Cornerstone in a 105–91 road defeat on February 11.
UM-Dearborn (6-19, 5-14) shot 43.5 percent from the floor and knocked down 12 three-pointers, but Cornerstone (11-14, 10-9) used a 63-point second half to pull away late.
The first half featured a competitive back-and-forth rhythm, with Cornerstone taking a narrow 42–39 advantage into the break. Jackson Reynolds led the charge early and often, attacking off the bounce and converting from deep. He finished with 32 points on 10-of-22 shooting, including 4-of-9 from beyond the arc, while adding five assists.
Abed Abuzahrah provided perimeter support with 19 points, connecting on five three-pointers. Thomas Dillard IV delivered an efficient inside performance, scoring 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting and pulling down eight rebounds.
Despite the offensive production, defensive containment became the difference. Cornerstone shot 48.6 percent from the field and placed five players in double figures. Kayden Bird led all scorers with 35 points, hitting seven three-pointers and a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. The Golden Eagles also generated 22 assists on 36 made baskets, consistently creating high-quality looks.
UM-Dearborn held a slight edge on the glass (42–45) and limited turnovers to 10, but Cornerstone's efficiency at the foul line (24-of-30) and timely shot-making in the second half widened the margin.
