DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team closed out its 2025 season on Saturday morning, falling in straight sets to nationally-ranked Aquinas College (25-10, 25-9, 25-11) inside the Fieldhouse.
The Saints showed why they remain unbeaten in conference play, hitting an impressive .561 as a team while limiting the Wolverines to a -.028 attack percentage. Aquinas' balanced offense was led by Lauren Chioini and Cece Pelak, who each tallied 12 kills. Chioini hit an outstanding .857, while setter Natalie West dished out 33 assists and added four service aces.
For Michigan-Dearborn, Monti Rotter led the way with five kills, while Abigail Goldobin added four kills and two aces. Setter Nalani Schanz finished with nine assists and seven digs, and Laura Chandler contributed four digs defensively.
