Wolverines Fall in Four Sets at Lourdes
The Wolverines conclude their regular season with two home games next week.
SYLVANIA, Ohio – The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team closed its 2025 season on the road Saturday afternoon, falling to Lourdes University in four sets (25-22, 19-25, 25-21, 25-21) at the Lourdes REC.
Senior Abigail Goldobin led the Wolverines' attack with 17 kills while hitting .173, capping an outstanding career for UM-Dearborn. Princess Savage added an efficient performance with 11 kills on a .529 hitting percentage, while Monti Rotter tallied eight kills and two aces. Setter Nalani Schanz directed the offense with 39 assists and added 11 digs for a double-double.
Defensively, Laura Chandler anchored the back row with a team-high 20 digs, while Savage and Chelsea Houghton each contributed three blocks at the net.
UM-Dearborn (3-23, 1-17 WHAC) hit .110 as a team, while Lourdes (7-18, 3-16 WHAC) finished at .139. The match marked the final appearance in the Maize and Blue for seniors Goldobin, Rotter, Houghton, and Savage, each of whom played key roles for the Wolverines throughout their careers.
