Blue Devils Sweep Wolverines in Three Sets

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team fell in straight sets to Lawrence Tech on Friday night, dropping a 3-0 decision (14-25, 13-25, 15-25) at the Don Ridler Fieldhouse.
The Wolverines (2-17, 0-11 WHAC) showed improved offensive rhythm as the match progressed, posting their best hitting percentage of the night in the third set at .200. Alyssa Evans led UM-Dearborn with six kills, while Princess Savage and Abigail Goldobin each contributed four. Setter Nalani Schanz paced the attack with 15 assists and added seven digs defensively. Laura Chandler anchored the back row with a team-high eight digs and one service ace.
Lawrence Tech (14-5, 7-4 WHAC) controlled the match behind a .357 team hitting percentage. Sydney Eggleton powered the Blue Devils with 12 kills and 15.5 points, while Nya Matley added 10 kills and three aces.
