DEARBORN, Mich. — The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's ice hockey team continued its undefeated start to the season in commanding fashion Friday night, overpowering Aquinas College 15–0 at the UM-Dearborn Ice Arena.
The Wolverines (5-0-0, 2-0-0) exploded offensively from the opening puck drop, tallying five goals in the first period and seven more in the second to put the game well out of reach. Freshman Pallavi Hari highlighted the night with a breakout performance, scoring her first two collegiate goals and adding two assists to complete a four-point effort.
UM-Dearborn's balanced attack featured 11 different goal scorers, led by Andi Evers and Sydney Gillen with two goals apiece. Finnia O'Neill Di Mascio, Ashley Savage, and Bella Metcalf also notched multi-point games, while goaltender Kenna Borso recorded her first shutout of the season with two saves.
The Wolverines dominated in shots, outshooting Aquinas 63–2, and will look to extend their unbeaten streak when they return to the ice Saturday night for the series finale.
