Wolverines Rout Jamestown, 5-0, to Advance to First-Ever Frosty Four

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's ice hockey team continued its historic run at the ACHA National Tournament, defeating Jamestown 5-0 on Friday afternoon to clinch a spot in the Frosty Four for the first time in program history.
With the win, the No. 6-seeded Wolverines improve to 2-0 in Pool C, securing advancement out of pool play and marking another milestone in what has been a landmark season for the program.
Michigan-Dearborn wasted no time setting the tone, scoring three times in the opening period. Pallavi Hari opened the scoring just 3:39 into the game with an unassisted goal. Cadence Pero doubled the lead at 7:34 off an assist from Stephanie Hatch, and Grace Taylor followed just 35 seconds later with another unassisted tally to give the Wolverines a 3-0 advantage after one.
The Wolverines extended the lead in the second period when Andi Evers found the back of the net at the 7:19 mark, finishing a setup from Grace Adriaanse.
Charlise Wharram capped the scoring late in the third period, netting an unassisted goal with 19 seconds remaining to secure the 5-0 final.
Kenna Borso was stellar in net, stopping all 26 shots she faced to record the shutout. Michigan-Dearborn controlled play throughout, outshooting Jamestown 38-26.
The victory not only secures a place in the Frosty Four, but further cements the 2025-26 season as one of the most successful in program history, as the Wolverines continue their pursuit of a national championship.
