DEARBORN, Mich. — October 24, 2025 — The No. 6-ranked University of Michigan-Dearborn women's ice hockey team continued its dominant start to the 2025-26 season with a 10-0 shutout victory over Grand Valley State University on Friday night at the Fieldhouse.
The Wolverines (7-0-0, 3-0-0 CCWHA) controlled the game from start to finish, scoring three times in the opening period and never looking back. Andi Evers and Megan Kosempel each netted two goals, while Cadence Pero added two of her own, including a pair on the power play.
Stephanie Hatch led all skaters with four assists, and Nicole Hahn, Charlise Wharram, Grace Adriaanse, and Pallavi Hari each found the back of the net in the balanced offensive attack.
Defensively, goaltender Kenna Borso stopped all 11 shots she faced to earn her fourth shutout of the season, as the Wolverines outshot the Lakers 40-11. UM-Dearborn capitalized on 3-of-9 power play opportunities and killed off both GVSU chances with the extra skater.
The win extends UM-Dearborn's unbeaten streak to start the season and marks their third straight game scoring at least 10 goals.
The Wolverines return to action Saturday night as they wrap up their weekend series against Grand Valley State in Grand Rapids.
